The primary purpose of my role is to to lead recruitment activity on behalf of the Business School to increase the number and diversity of well qualified applicants and entrants to our portfloio of taught postgraduate programmes. 

Responsibilities include:

• Identification of priority markets.
• Representing the Business School at a wide variety of overseas and UK recruitment events/fairs.
• Overseeing and organising School Open Days and Information Events
• Ongoing review and evaluation of recruitment activity to ensure that targets were met.
• Ongoing liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

Originally from Northern Ireland, Scotland has been my home for more than 30 years now, and I have worked within the Scottish Higher Education sector for 25 of these 30 years!

I take huge pride and delight in assisting students at every stage of their application journey - from initial enquiry to application, from offer to acceptance of offer - with the biggest joy being to welcome to Edinburgh, students who I have met several months before in their home country.

Away from work I am a very proud dad and husband.  I am a keen (and sometimes competent!) golfer.
