Background
I trained with a small/medium chartered Accountancy firm in Glasgow, qualifying in 1992. I joined Glasgow Caledonian University in 1994, teaching tax and financial accounting for nearly 27 years. I was one of the first in the department to become a member of the ILT, now the HEA, with my PGCE material being used as an exemplar for automatic membership. I joined Edinburgh in 2021, as a senior teaching fellow in Business Education.
