All deferral requests will be considered on an individual basis.
Deadline for deferral requests
We will consider deferral requests on an ongoing basis as we receive them. The deadline for submitting a deferral request is 31 August.
Unsuccessful deferral requests
If your deferral request is unsuccessful, we encourage you to take up your place for entry this year, or to withdraw and submit a new application for entry next year when applications open.
However, because competition for places varies each year, there is no guarantee that a new application will be successful.
English language tests
Please remember that if you defer your place you may need to take a new English test if your current English language qualification expires before the revised start date. The new SELT will be required by 31 October of your original entry year.
Deposit
The deposit must be paid before a deferral is agreed. This should be done within 28 days of receiving the original offer. The deposit is non-refundable.
Unconditional offer
We defer unconditional offers only.
It is possible to defer an offer only once.
