The student enterprises were honoured at Edinburgh Research and Innovation’s , which celebrate University of Edinburgh staff, researchers, and students who start businesses or social enterprises.

Fellow graduate Cavid Nadirov shared the top prize for , an online marketplace connecting travellers with local tour guides.
founder and Edinburgh PhD James Turing was also named Social and Environmental Award winner, for his work to bring computers to communities in sub-Saharan Africa.
As well as studying at the School, all share E Club award success in common – having each been recognised by the Edinburgh Entrepreneurship Club’s network of more than 3,000 students, alumni, researchers and faculty in the past few years.
The awards are supported by , the University’s support service for ambitious entrepreneurs.
