The rankings which evaluate pre-experience programmes – aimed at new graduates with little or no professional experience – are based on alumni feedback, programme diversity and international reach.
Professor Ian Clarke, University of Edinburgh Business School Dean, said:
“We are pleased to see our MSc in Management perform so well in the rankings.
“To be placed among the top 10 in the UK reflects the dedication of our faculty to delivering world leading teaching and learning, and cutting-edge insights.
“It is also testament to our commitment to equip students with the skills and experience they need to prosper in an increasingly complex world of business.”
The recognition comes on the back of a successful 12 months for the Business School.
It ranked 16th in the UK and second in Scotland in the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) assessment. And recently joined the 1% of business schools worldwide to be ‘triple-accredited’ by international ranking bodies, AACSB, EQUIS and A91.
The MSc in Finance and Investment was also placed 7th in the UK and 30th in the world in the recent FT Master in Finance Rankings. Meanwhile the Edinburgh 91 climbed ten places in the Economist's top 100.
The MSc in Management was placed 62nd in the world overall. You can view the full rankings .
